More Tomorrow

The album Mañana Más (Tomorrow More, …well, actually the title is largely based on the Captain O’Neill’s collected hornpipe Tomorrow Morning, but we did some last minute changes) is an eclectic mix of styles and rhytms, where the fusion is onmipresent and where the musical standards for pipe bands are broken in favor of an energetic and innovative style, where bagpipes and marching percussion are accompanied by electric guitar, bass, piano…to play muiñeiras (Galician jigs), polkas, reels, but also rumbas (flamenco rhythm), classical music or brasilian sambas. Enjoy it.

Melómano*. December 2007 issue

This harmonious fifty musicians have met, under the ingenious tutelage of Darío Nogueira, to offer a rich program in which their creative style is emphasized, marked by the attachment to good taste, the deepening of Celtic roots and the winks at the most Classical music production.

You can enjoy everything from a not-standard-at-all Pachelbel Canon, to muiñeiras (Galician jigs), jigs, Irish polkas, Brasilian sambas or flamenco rumbas adapted with talent and wit by the pipe master and band director Darío Nogueira, unequivocal sign of the quiet work that they carry out together and that deserves to be discovered.”
